- En vikig dag for byen / - An important day for the city

en åpning av Lego Gas Station. Bensinstasjonen ligger i Lego street 12, like

Borgemesteren
Mulligan (001) var selvsagt til stede under åpningen. Det var også Ben Johnson
(065), sjef for byutvikling i Lego City. «Dette er en viktig dag for byen. Fra
i dag av kan legobilene fylle tankene sine i sentrum av byen. Dette bidrar til
en stadig voksende by», sier Johnson.
Bensinstasjonen

Things
happen in Lego City. Not long after the opening of the Brick bank, a new gas
station opened in the City. The gas station is located in Lego Street 12, adjacent
to the parking lot.
Major Mulligan
(001) was of course precent during the opening, together with head of city
development Ben Johnson (065). «This is an important day for the city. From
this day forward the lego cars can fill up in the city center. This contributes
to an ever growing city», says Johnson.
The gas
station was well recieved by the people of Lego City. Bank manager Terry Bull
(074) was one of the first customers and was espacially happy that the station
provides a place to charge electric cars. «This gives me a short drive from
work to the station. I work in the building next to my house, but it is always
good to know hat my commute is green», Bull explains to Lego News.
The couple
that started the station is Jane (080) and Frank (079) Chevron. In many years,
they have run a gas station outside the city, but after the electric cars came
and the oil price increased they had to move to the city. «It is electricity
that counts now! That is what people wants. But we also sell regular gas»
explains Jane Chevron. «It is still important with petrol! I have to huge limos
that need alot of gas. In fact, it is only Bull that drives with an electric
car in this city» says Major Mulligan.
